Summer holidays in the mountains of Val Gardena

Countless leisure activities await hikers, climbers, mountain bikers, nature lovers and enthusiasts in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Dolomites.

Val Gardena is at its most enchanting during the warm summer months. Green forests and wide alpine meadows can be found in the immediate vicinity of the village, the cliffs of the Dolomites tower up imposingly into the sky and the fresh mountain air fills your lungs. Hiking, climbing and mountain biking in Val Gardena is exciting and varied. From simple walking trails, accessible with a pushchair, to high alpine tours, via ferrata and marked mountain bike trails, there are suitable excursion destinations for everyone.

The Hotel Arnaria itself has a supply of mountain bikes available to you free of charge, and if necessary you can also be provided with a child seat. For our guests willing to brave some heights, we recommend the new high ropes course Col de Flam in Ortisei, which is run by the Catores Alpine School. Tennis lovers can also use the courts of the nearby tennis centre free of charge.
With Val Gardena Active we also offer you the opportunity to take part in many activities free of charge or at a reduced price, so that you can get to know and enjoy our beautiful natural surroundings even better. Here you will find the weekly programme as well as more detailed information on the individual events.

In addition, we provide you with the Val Gardena Card at the hotel, which allows you to use all of the lifts in Val Gardena which are open in summer, as well as buses in the "Mobilcard" zone, all at a reasonable price and for an unlimited period. There is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel.
For those seeking peace and relaxation, the Hotel Arnaria offers a beautiful garden with a large lawn and a small natural pond with trout, ducks and rabbits. Our bar with its spacious terrace invites you to stay a while.
